10-23-06 LA CA: 2019 hrs. I have been up and at it since
0600 and will be fading soon. Got a lot done at the office. Heidi
and I have been working on lists of bands and guests we want to get
for the show. I think we’re making some headway. It’s
hard lining all this stuff up. We have to make very long lists as
we’ll be lucky to get a small fraction of these people to say
yes. I just signed on to do an episode of Tom Green’s show,
I forget what night, I think it’s next Monday. I’ll let
you know. I am basically doing it because I feel his pain trying to
get guests. I made up a small notice about the Pere Ubu show happening
this Sunday. I am a fan of the band and their leader David Thomas
so I promised the label I would get the word out as best I could.

Special Notice: This date will be the only one on the tour that is
a "double bill," with the band playing a full set in addition
