#304. 11-03-06 LA CA: 1910 hrs. A good day today. Ian called and we talked for a little while. The Evens record is coming on Tuesday so I’ll be playing a song from it on the radio show Tuesday night. It’s a great album, I just got done playing it again. I have to call in on Sunday evening to see if I have to go downtown and check in for jury duty on Monday. I’m sure I will. Not looking forward to all that traffic downtown and all that waiting around. Maybe I’ll learn a thing or two. I told Ian about my impending jury duty and he had just finished doing it. He thinks all that stuff is interesting. I would perhaps find it all a bit more interesting if I could get my head around the depressing part of it. Crime is one of the aspects of the American machine that is broke and can’t seem to get fixed. You figure we could have moved beyond crime at this point. O what a dreamer am I! Where’s my Styx greatest hits CD?!
