11-01-07 Portland OR: Late. I really like doing shows in
this town. The audience here is one of the most energized, loyal and
great group to be in front of. I am always somewhat nervous when I
walk out in front of them here. I thought it was a good show and everyone
was cool to me. I talked to a lot of people after the show, they were
all great. The weather here is like DC in the autumn. A woman I know,
Mandy Stein, she is the one who did the Johnny Ramone benefit DVD,
she walked into her mother’s apartment yesterday and found her
dead in a pool of blood. Very sad. I feel bad for Mandy, she’s
a really good, hard working person. I got a letter about it earlier
in the day.
