BROADCAST #04
AIR DATE: 01-22-08

Hallo Fanatics!!! I am in Köln Germany tonight and thought it would be a good idea to rock it German style all night long. I have been on this tour for almost two weeks now and things are great. Last night was a show in Berlin and as always, the audience was fantastic and we all had a good time. Tonight is my last night in Germany and now it’s onto Holland, Belgium and the UK. It’s going to be great. So, about tonight’s show: I picked out what is hopefully a cool assortment of the many moods of Germany from the hard rock to the space rock and elsewhere. I think it’s a good one. Engineer X is loving this broadcast. I have been hitting record stores here and there and so far, nothing really amazing has surfaced. I did find a nice condition LP version of The Mark Of Cain’s first album Battlesick in a sleeve that was unfamiliar to me as well as an LP version of a Pan Sonic / Alan Vega album that I only had on CD but that’s about it so far. I did see some pretty good condition UA era Hawkwind albums in Berlin yesterday, as you know, you don’t see those around very often anymore. I am hoping for some good finds in Amsterdam and beyond. I was hoping to get to the great record stores of Hamburg but I was there on a Sunday so no luck there. I have found so many good records in that town, it’s not to be believed. Next week’s show will be a great one, a serious mix of songs with a rockin’ Thin Lizzy finish. Please try and tune in if at all possible. I hope you enjoyed the show tonight and whenever possible, STAY FANATIC!!! --Henry

THE PREMIERE SCREENING OF ‘THE GIG’
Introduced by HENRY ROLLINS

On the 16th July 2007 a gig took place which has been described by many as one of the best punk gigs of all time! As a benefit for Paul Fox who had been diagnosed with inoperable Cancer, it was a gig born of tragic circumstances that had a profound effect on everyone there, fans and artists alike. All the artists performed for free and all egos were left at the door. The ‘plug in and play’ nature of the night and the limited time available meant that we got the very best from every artist and many of them performed with an intensity and vibrancy reminiscent of the early days. Nobody who managed to get one of the much sought after tickets and was lucky enough to attend that night was left in any doubt that they were witnessing a truly historic event. This short film shows the highlights of that night and has been specially edited to celebrate the launch of the Limited Edition Tribute DVD from the event.

This is set to be another historic night. Tickets cost £10 from
