Fanatics! I have good news and then I have Evens better news. Tonight’s show is all Africa all night and I think it’s one of our best broadcasts yet. As you listen to this, I am in Cape Town South Africa, gearing up for two shows down here. I figured this would be a great opportunity to really let it rip Africa style. I hope you like this show. I know Engineer X was excited about this one. Now, here’s some other news. The other day, I got a letter from a friend of mine who said he was going to be in LA for a few days and it made me think that this guy might just be a great guest host while I am away. I want to do this now and then but it has to be the right person who would uphold our great standard of tremendous airplay we have established over the years, as well make all the Fanatics jump for joy. I thought this was just the guy for the job so I asked him and to my immense gratitude, he said yes. So, next week, we will not be playing our night of Stoner Rock, great a broadcast is it, it can wait. Next week, your guest host will be none other than IAN MACKAYE. Yes Fanatics, Ian of Minor Threat, Fugazi and Evens note, will be in the studio with Engineer X to do whatever it is he decides to do for the entire two hours. This is going to be a great one, tell all your friends. Until next week, we wait with great anticipation to hear what Ian will bring. I wish I could be with you all for this.
