Hello Fanatics! I am in Belfast Northern Ireland at the moment. It’s Monday 03-31-08 and I have a day off so I figured I better get these notes typed up and sent in ASAP. If you were listening last week, you will remember that I promised you this concept broadcast that you will hopefully find to your liking. This broadcast is all Eno and Eno related. We are starting with one of my favorite albums of all time, Here Come The Warm Jets. I don’t know how many times I have played this one. We have listened to a lot of tracks from it over the years on our show but I thought it might be great to hear the thing all the way through for good measure. After that’s over, it’s a couple of Eno tracks and then onto Eno collaborations and stuff Mr. Eno’s been involved in as a band member or a producer and we finish off with a great track of his from the Apollo Atmospheres & Soundtracks album. I think this is a great night of music and I hope you enjoy it. Now, next week, our show will be a great mix of songs that I put together recently. It’s a good one and I hope you get a chance to hear it. I will be in Sydney Australia but of course, I will be thinking of you all! I will be hitting all the record stores I can in the endless quest for music acquisition. I have just found the component I have been looking for and will be making some nice transfers from vinyl to CDR over the summer and will be bringing some great rare stuff onto the show to keep things interesting so stay tuned for that. Engineer X and I are looking forward to making this year the best shows we have ever done. Also this: thanks for Fanatic Dan and Fanatic Charlie, I was able to download a copy of The Fall’s new album Imperial Wax Solvent from the internets. It’s not out for a month. I like it a lot better than the album that came before it. I have only heard it twice. By the time I get back to you live, it will be out and we will check it out.
